Reminder for Teachers

 

Ramdarshan Public School believes that every teacher is a valuable asset to the educational institution. A teacher's role extends beyond imparting knowledge, they are seen as a divine gift to the children.

To be an inspiring role model to others, a teacher at Ramdarshan Public School is expected to embody discipline, systematic approach, sincerity, energy, cooperation, faithfulness, and unyielding dedication to their profession, duties, and entrusted responsibilities. They are encouraged to wholeheartedly embrace the institution's objectives and direction with a broad-minded and generous spirit.

Ramdarshan Public School lays down certain guidelines for all teachers to succeed in their careers and fulfill the institution's vision by carrying out them effectively. These guidelines are designed to nurture an environment of growth, learning, and character development for both teachers and students.

  1. Teachers are expected to arrive at the school premises by 7:30 am and before 7:45 am on every working day.
  2. Upon arrival, teachers must sign the attendance register at the Principal Office before 7:45 am.
  3. Teachers conducting the first period should be present in their respective classes immediately after the morning assembly.
  4. Teachers are required to check all student class/homework thoroughly, provide corrections for practice, and sign with the date after checking each assignment.
  5. Teachers are expected to respond positively to substitution duties and ensure discipline in the absence of another teacher in an adjacent class.
  6. Every teacher is required to submit the academic plan on a monthly basis for approval.
  7. Casual leave is permitted once per month. Prior approval from the Principal is mandatory for both late coming and taking leave.
  8. Class teachers must maintain regular attendance and submit records promptly.
  9. Interact with students only in English and maintain a respectful distance from them.
  10. Mobile phone use during teaching hours is strictly prohibited. In case of emergencies, please use the school office number.
  11. Attend all common programs such as PTA meetings, celebrations, sports day, and annual day.
  12. Prepare students in advance for curricular and extracurricular activities and assemblies.
  13. Motivate students to participate actively in all activities.
  14. Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and decorum in the classrooms.
  15. Respect privacy in the principal's room, and use the intercom during emergencies.
  16. Follow proper and smart dress code, avoiding overly fashionable attire.
  17. Foster good relationships with office staff and colleagues.
  18. Appreciate and encourage fellow teachers.
  19. Foster a positive and cordial relationship with parents, engaging them in student development.
  20. Provide necessary support to weaker students and keep records of their progress.
  21. Show no partiality towards students and avoid bringing personal matters into the school environment.
  22. Embrace the institution as your own, taking ownership and pride in it.
  23. Suggest frequent class PTA meetings to strengthen parent-teacher collaboration.
  24. Organize class tour programs and complete record works promptly.
  25. Show extra care for students during bus travels and boarding stations.
